Images Don't Look Like Me
Why some headshots may not match your appearance and what to do about it
Not every AI-generated headshot will look exactly like you. You might notice differences in your nose, jawline, expression, or other facial features. This is normal and expected.
Why It Happens
The AI learns your face from the photos you upload, but it also introduces variation. It doesn't copy your face pixel by pixel - it interprets it. Things like nose shape, skin texture, or facial proportions can shift slightly between generations.
Your choice of background and outfit also has an effect. Some combinations work better than others, and certain styles may push the AI further from your actual appearance.
Why We Generate a Lot of Headshots
Because of this natural variation, we generate a large number of headshots for each order. With good quality input photos, you should find at least 2 to 5 headshots that look great and closely match your appearance. Not every image will be a winner - but the best ones typically are.
Tips to Improve Results
- Try different style combinations - some backgrounds and outfits produce more consistent results than others
- Generate more headshots - each generation is unique, so creating more gives you more to choose from
- Slim down faces - if the AI made your face look wider than it is, use the Thinner Face option in the Magic Editor (Pro mode)
- Straighten tilted heads - sometimes slightly angled headshots actually look more natural, if you like the shot and prefer a straight pose, use the Straighten Head option in the Magic Editor (Pro mode)
