My Teeth Look Wrong
Why AI struggles with teeth and how to fix it
Teeth are one of the hardest things for AI to get right. You might notice missing teeth, extra teeth, uneven shapes, or an unnatural-looking smile. This is a well-known limitation of AI image generation.
Why It Happens
The AI doesn't know exactly how your teeth look. It learns your face from your uploaded photos, but teeth are small and often partially visible, so the AI has to guess - and it doesn't always get it right.
What You Can Do
Option A: Generate more headshots
The simplest fix is to generate additional headshots. Each generation is unique, and some will produce natural-looking teeth. Just create a new headshot with the same or different style combination and compare the results.
Option B: Use the "Don't show teeth" edit
If you prefer a closed-mouth look, use the Magic Editor to adjust your expression:
- Open the headshot you want to fix
- Click Edit to open the Magic Editor
- Select Change Facial Features
- Choose Don't show teeth
This will subtly close the lips while keeping the rest of the image intact.
