Generated headshots are preview-resolution. Upscaling increases the resolution so your images are sharp and detailed enough for printing, large displays, or any professional use.

How It Works

  1. Open a headshot in the Magic Editor
  2. Click the Upscale button
  3. Choose your target resolution: 2K, 4K, or 8K

Resolution Options

  • 2K (1 credit) — good for social media, web, and blog posts
  • 4K (2 credits) — ideal for printing, high-res web, and large displays
  • 8K (8 credits) — maximum quality for professional printing and large-format use

Important: Upscaling Is Final

Upscaling is a one-way operation — you cannot apply further edits to an upscaled image. Make sure you've applied all the edits you want (background, outfit, facial features, etc.) before you upscale.

Tips

  • For most uses (LinkedIn, websites, email signatures), 2K or 4K is more than enough
  • Only use 8K if you need professional-grade prints or large-format displays
  • Upscaling is not affected by Pro Mode — the cost stays the same
