Managing Credits
How the credit system works, buying more credits, and tracking usage
Credits are the currency for headshot generation and Magic Editor edits. Each plan comes with included credits, and you can purchase more at any time.
How Credits Work
Credits are deducted when you generate headshots or use the Magic Editor. Your current balance is visible on the Billing & Credits page.
- Headshot generation: 12 credits per style combination
- Magic Editor edits: 2 credits per edit
- Expand to landscape: 4 credits (full 4K output)
- Upscaling: 1 credit (2K), 2 credits (4K), or 8 credits (8K)
Included Credits
Each plan includes Magic Editor credits to get you started:
- Basic: 8 credits
- Professional: 16 credits
- Executive: 32 credits
Buying More Credits
Need more? Purchase additional credit packs from the Billing & Credits page — current pack sizes and prices are shown there. Payment is handled securely through Stripe. Purchased credits are added to your balance immediately.
Tracking Usage
The Billing & Credits page shows a full transaction history of all credit movements — purchases, usage, refunds, and bonuses. You can filter by type, profile, or date range to find specific transactions.
Failed Operations
If a headshot generation or Magic Editor edit fails, the credits spent on that operation are automatically returned to your balance. You'll see this as a separate entry in your transaction history. If you believe credits were not returned correctly, please contact support.
