How to Use Your Free Retry
Learn how to start a free retry if you are not happy with your headshots
Professional and Executive plans include 1 free retry. If you're not satisfied with your headshots, you can upload new photos and get a complete do-over at no extra cost.
What Is a Free Retry?
A retry lets you start fresh with new input photos. Your AI model is retrained from scratch, and new headshots are generated using your original style selections. It's like getting a brand new photo session - for free.
Who Is Eligible?
- You are on a Professional or Executive plan
- You have not already used your free retry
Basic plans do not include a free retry. If you're on the Basic plan and not happy with your results, you can request a refund instead.
How to Start a Retry
- Go to your profile page where your headshots are displayed
- Click the Do-Over button in the profile header
- Confirm that you want to start a retry
- Upload new input photos (better photos lead to better results)
- Your headshots will be regenerated automatically
Tips for Better Results
Since you get one retry, make it count:
- Plain background - stand in front of a white wall or sit on a simple chair, avoid busy or cluttered backgrounds
- Good lighting - too bright is better than too dark, face a window or use a well-lit room
- Keep distance from the camera - hold your phone at arm's length to avoid barrel distortion that warps facial features
- Groom yourself - style your hair, trim or shape your beard, and put on makeup the way you'd like to appear in your headshots
- No sunglasses, hats, or masks - your face should be clearly visible
- Relaxed, neutral expression - a calm, natural look works best, avoid unnatural expressions like a forced smile

What Happens to My Old Headshots?
Your previous profile is locked - no further edits or generations are possible, but you can still view and download your existing headshots. A new profile is created for your retry with fresh headshots.
Still Not Happy After Your Retry?
If your retry results still don't meet your expectations, you can request a full refund.
